I grew up in St. Louis, MO and now live in Minneapolis, MN.
I have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Uma, who loves my cooking scraps and always wants to cuddle.
I’m currently an MBA student at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, specializing in entrepreneurship and food & agribusiness.
I love to travel. My favorite place I’ve ever been is Reykjavik, Iceland.
Behind the Bites
I started my food journey four years ago when I learned I had to follow a gluten and dairy free diet. At first, making dietary changes felt socially challenging, expensive, and time consuming. Since I struggled to eat out, I began to make my meals everyday and realized my passion for cooking, baking, and recipe creation. Since then, I have loved exploring simple and delicious ingredients that take into account food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
I spent the first 18 years of my life in St. Louis, MO before spending four years in Tacoma, WA where I attended undergrad. I currently live in Minneapolis, MN, where I attend grad school and love exploring new restaurants and local farmers markets.
Having a different diet than societal norms is not easy. I love cooking for my family, which can often be challenging as my brother, dad, and I all have completely different dietary requirements. That is why I created Bite to Share, to show that no matter your dietary needs you can still cook and enjoy food that makes your belly full and your heart happy.
