I'm Holly, creator of Bite to Share.

  • I grew up in St. Louis, MO and now live in Minneapolis, MN. 

  • I have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Uma, who loves my cooking scraps and always wants to cuddle. 

  • I’m currently an MBA student at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, specializing in entrepreneurship and food & agribusiness. 

  • I love to travel. My favorite place I’ve ever been is Reykjavik, Iceland.

Behind the Bites

I started my food journey four years ago when I learned I had to follow a gluten and dairy free diet. At first, making dietary changes felt socially challenging, expensive, and time consuming. Since I struggled to eat out, I began to make my meals everyday and realized my passion for cooking, baking, and recipe creation. Since then, I have loved exploring simple and delicious ingredients that take into account food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.


I spent the first 18 years of my life in St. Louis, MO before spending four years in Tacoma, WA where I attended undergrad. I currently live in Minneapolis, MN, where I attend grad school and love exploring new restaurants and local farmers markets.


Having a different diet than societal norms is not easy. I love cooking for my family, which can often be challenging as my brother, dad, and I all have completely different dietary requirements. That is why I created Bite to Share, to show that no matter your dietary needs you can still cook and enjoy food that makes your belly full and your heart happy.
